As Quinn Sullivan’s summer tour gets underway he caught the attention of the New York Times music section and excerpts of his interview are online now. He spoke with reporter Jame McKinley about how seeing Buddy Guy on a DVD concert of Eric Clapton’s 2004 Crossroads show opened his eyes to what Blues music can be and gave him even more inspiration for where to take his own career. With yesterday’s release of his album Getting There and and several dozen tour dates all over the country, Quinn is going to be busy these next few months.
